You'll probably get a kick out of this. At least 20 years ago, I had a robin's nest outside my window in a short, whispy shrub. A windstorm came through, and blew the nest out of the shrub (who said robin's were smart?)
I was in tears, and way too squeamish to pick up the babies, so my nurse mom gave my boyfriend some latex exam gloves, and he picked up the nest and 3 babies while I supervised, and put them more securely in the shrub. Momma bird came back, and I got to watch the babies grow and fly away.

Praying for no windstorms in PA!
