Nothing more exciting to write about...

I ordered a new cell phone today. It does stuff. More stuff than my current phone. Not that I'll necessarily use said stuff, but I want to know I can. I'm adding a line to my current plan because I have over 8000 rollover minutes saved up. I'm not kidding. I totally over-estimated my phone usage, or non-usage actually, when I signed up for the plan and the 13 year-old in the house really kinda needs a phone.

But I digress.

I had the brilliant idea that, since I'm not thrilled with my current phone, I'd get a new one with a new line and give Katie my old phone and just switch the SIM card. Brilliant, I tell ya. Simply brilliant. Go me.

LOL...I was happy to hear from you, I have started to stalk your blog now :) I'm sure that Katie will love having a cell...how long to do you expect the 8000 min to last a 13 year old girl?

Yep, I just recently got a new phone too. More because my old one was dying on my every day or so. So I bought a new plan, new number, and everything - a cute little white phone with God-knows-how-much-stuff. Then I went home, and for the next 5 days, I got calls every 2/3 hours from a scary dude (with an Unavailable number showing) who kept asking me how much I'd charge for sex services. And let me tell you, screaming at him that he's got the wrong fucking phone number does not help. I think he got off on my misery. So I had to change my number, and I got a phone that didn't require Apple nerds to decipher. Yay me!

Ah, God, I hate prank phone calls! Did you have to pay for a new number?

Yeah, Rach, she did have a phone that IB bought her 6 months ago because he wanted to do it for her birthday. He practically begged to let him be the one to get it for her because he never does shit. Naturally, it was shut off for not paying the freakin' bill.

No, thank God. Fortunately, I still was within my 15 days of being able to change anything in my plan. Which was fantastic.
